Introduction to Module 5 – Traumatology and Emotional Healing
This training module provides a deep exploration of traumatology and emotional healing processes, with particular attention given to specific traumas experienced by women.
We will begin by defining the different types of trauma, distinguishing single shock traumas from complex and chronic traumas. We will then examine the profound impact of traumatic experiences on the body, emotions, thoughts, and behaviors, as well as the underlying neurophysiological mechanisms.
Particular emphasis will be placed on gendered traumas, such as sexual violence, domestic violence, childhood abuse, or perinatal loss. We will explore their prevalence, their specific dynamics, and their long-term consequences on women’s mental health and well-being.
The remainder of the module will be devoted to the various therapeutic approaches that facilitate the emotional healing of traumas. We will present the principles and protocols of recognized techniques such as EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), Somatic Experiencing, EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques), and cognitive-behavioral therapies.
We will also explore the potential of creative and bodily approaches, such as art therapy, psychodrama, or dance therapy. Special attention will be paid to their relevance within the context of Divine Feminine Healing, as tools for reconnecting to life energy and the sacred feminine essence.
Finally, we will address the process of trauma integration, which allows for the gradual transformation of wounds into resources and potential for growth. We will see how therapeutic work, combined with ritual practices and a reconnection to feminine archetypes, can pave the way for a true initiatory rebirth.
Through this module, participants will gain a refined understanding of the issues of traumatology, as well as concrete tools to support women on the path of emotional healing. They will be invited to journey on their own path of integration, in order to fully embody their role as practitioners in Divine Feminine Healing.
